Lump In Roof Of Mouth

pyramids and pensions arm

Vor zwei Jahren, am 11.Dezember 2008, ist in den USA das bisher größte  "Pyramidenspiel" aufgeflogen: der Betrug von Herrn  Madoff hat einen Schaden in der Größenordnung 50 billion U.S. dollars.
The idea of \u200b\u200ba Ponzi scheme (also snowballing called) is quite simply one promises investors profitable investment of their funds, as "proof" get the first, the money will return, this interest high back - simply paid out of the fresh deposits of new investors.

This works as long as ever more new money flows. At some, however, succumbs to the river or even turned around, and the system breaks down (in the case of Mr. Madoff wanted in late autumn 2008, apparently many of his investors their money back to invest it in the then moderately priced stock market - so many that the new money is not sufficient to brfriedigen to all, that flew on the fraud and Mr. Madoff wandered into the prison ).

Eriinert us the system of the pyramid game of something? Is not there something where the government forces us to pay for decades and we get paid - the money from the deposit must then other?
yes Also, our state pension system works this way. No problem as long as the population of working age is growing faster than the number of pensioners. Unfortunately, however, has stagnated, the number of workers while Life expectancy and thus increases (with fixed retirement age!) The number of pensioners . Somehow I suspect, however, it won the Verantworltichen will not happen to like Mr. Madoff .

Update: Here are my thoughts for a reasonable pension system.
